Life and chess are very much the same, depending on how you look at it. Try to imagine standing on the chess board thinking you are safe from your opponent for only a minute to think about your next move. Only to see that you may have made the wrong move. Hold onto your seat because life gets complicated, just like chess.
I have been living my life all wrong up to this point. If you are hoping that all your moves are safe before you move, wrong answer. Life is full of curve balls that throw off your game of life. Well if we only knew how to be better prepared to manage and play out curve balls before they become a problem, that would help our game. If we can study each chess move to understand each possible outcome, we have a better chance at winning. Life offers that same chance to win at anything from understanding possible outcomes of the aftermath of your decisions. In chess, your game may diminish each time your pieces are lost so pay attention before your next move.
Think about that for a minute, it could possibly take many brainstorms to master your thoughts, however, your finished strategy could be amazing. Every time you make a wrong move in life or chess, you have the option to learn from your former move.
Enjoy your life and never beat yourself up for making a wrong move because there is always an option for a rematch in life and in the game of chess. Be playful but remain mindful of your surroundings at all times. There is always someone waiting to be your opponent and capture your king.
STANCE
People, like chess pieces, all have power and preference in life. No matter what chess piece you stand for in your life, your power is noted with restrictions. Knowing what we are capable of in life and understanding our strengths and weaknesses, could decide on the outcome of our game. Your childhood, like your pawn/knight/bishop/rook are just the beginning of your strategy in the game of life and chess. Adults, like your king and queen, only strengthen your game.
STRATEGY
Every move you make, counts. Castling, check, and checkmate in chess are moves that result from well planned out strategies you learned from practice and learning while playing the game. Planning, living, and alliance in life are moves that may help you stay in the game for one rematch after another for a better life. Life is Just a Professional Chess Game.
